RULES OF CONDUCT/MEMBERSHIP – Proper Etiquette Required
- No means no! (See also – CONSENT)
- Ask before touching, PERIOD . . . this applies to men and women.
- Membership is restricted to those 21 years or older. Alcohol is sold at Ludus Social Club so no exceptions.
- You must respect all members and staff. No rude behavior or comments will be tolerated. Loud, unruly, obnoxious and/or confrontational behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the property and membership rights may be suspended or terminated.
- Ludus takes your safety seriously and we rely on our members to be proactive with their safety as well. If you experience unwanted conversation or attention, politely decline, say NO, or simply walk away (staff cannot be everywhere at all times). If the situation elevates, then please contact staff.
- Persons displaying signs of being overly intoxicated will not be allowed to purchase alcohol and may be asked to leave.
- There is a zero-tolerance policy of ANY illegal activity. Any violation on these premises will result in automatic revocation of your membership, and you will not be allowed to return. New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department will be notified of these instances.
- You may be provided with a wrist band to wear for the night. Removal of the wrist band will result in being removed from the club.
- Respect everyone’s privacy. What happens at Ludus, stays at Ludus. By agreeing to membership at Ludus Social Club, you agree not to disclose the identity, likeness, or image of any other member. Privacy is of utmost importance to our members and us. Anyone sharing anything about another member is grounds for revocation of membership and/or legal action.
- A reminder, photos and videos are only possible with full consent of everyone in the space. If in doubt, put your phone away!!! Privacy, Respect, Consent!
- As a member, I will not hold Ludus Social Club LLC, property owner, and/or business owner liable for any personal injury, property damage, and/or stolen property. By becoming a Member of Ludus Social Club or participating in any events, parties, gatherings, or functions of the Club, you are taking responsibility for your well-being and safety.
- Un-escorted men must be courteous and respectful. Don’t intervene on anyone’s personal space and absolutely no unnecessary contact (don’t put your arm around any woman or make any sexual gestures or references.) CONSENT is REQUIRED.
- Your purchase of membership means you agree to all rules and regulations of the club and agree to take personal responsibility for your well-being and safety.
